Gwynn was working on a painting in her gallery.

Then, she heard her assistant knocking on the door. “There’s a Ms. Talia looking for you, Ms. Gwynn. She’s been here before.”

She was a little stunned. Turning around, she looked outside.

True enough. Talia was standing at the door. However, she was evidently skinnier than before. The sorrow in her eyes was unmistakable as well. Obviously, she had a hard time with her life.

Gwynn had no interest in seeing her.

Gwynn responded dryly, “Life’s okay, I guess!”

Her cold, distant attitude made things a little awkward between them for a moment.
