Talia was speechless for a long time.

Her tone was cold when her voice reverberated in the living room. “You don’t love me? Do you want a divorce? That’s not what you said when you married me, Anderson. You said I’m your ideal wife because of how warm and thoughtful I am.”

“That ship has sailed,” Anderson said. “Take a look at yourself, Talia. Do you honestly still think you’re warm right now?”

She asked defiantly, “Well, who made me this way? Who exactly is the reason that I became a raging shrew? Tell me, Anderson!”

He didn’t have an answer for that.
