Pulling at the back of her head, he stared at her profoundly. Both of their bodies were shivering uncontrollably. It had nothing to do with their lust. Instead, it was about their strong feelings for each other.

They might’ve known each other for more than a decade, married for several years, went through several bittersweet split-ups and reconciliations, and made a couple of babies together, but they’d never bared their souls in this way ever before.

Zoe was still shivering all over. Raising her head, she looked at him. The light above shone on her, accentuating her fair, rosy cheeks. He loved looking at her when she was like this.
