Levi was stunned. He couldn’t believe what he felt for the blonde woman standing before him. He was certain he had put all of that behind him, sure he would never feel this way again. He was convinced he had learned his lesson and could stay away from women like her. After all, they only brought complications. But his eyes drifted downward without his control, drawn to the line where her breasts met, with a bead of sweat running between them. And Levi realized he would have given anything to lick it off.

His reaction was instinctive: he yelled at her.

Hers was better: she put him in his place so effectively that Levi spent the next hour with his son’s bassinet on his lap because there was no way to hide that erection.

Half the time, he closed his eyes, and the other half, he seethed just imagining that every man in the store wanted to do exactly what he did to her.

“Are you happy?” he growled when the store was finally empty.
