When he arrived at the exact spot, he had another surprise: upon a closer look, he found several dead animals and this made him more intrigued, for if she had been a cannibal she would have eaten them, which did not happen. After analyzing them in detail, he found that they all had the same scar, and there was no trace of blood in the place, nor in the earth, nor in the bushes. Then he decided that the rain might have washed the foliage or even the ground, making the bloodstains disappear, but inside the animal it had to contain something. So he was checking it out. With the tip of a knife, Michael pierced some of them and found no drop of blood; it was as if the animals were dry. His head kept thinking andspinning.
