ALI DREAM P.O. V

So this is awkward,I said to myself.

I didn't know what to say, and he didn't say anything; which made it even harder. I internally moaned. We went from an awkward silence in the car, to being sweet when he held my hand; back to that awkward silence, now to eat something sweet. I looked up from my food when Matthew cleared his throat.

I internally sighed with relief, finally, he said something.

"Do you like ice cream?" he asked in a strange tone.

"Mmhmm." He answered me with a smile.

He nodded, accepting my answer. I said, "Well, well."

Then he turned. The awkward silence.

"Do you like yours?" He asked me.

"Oh, yes. It's good." He answered, nodding.

Again, awkward silence.

A light bulb shone above my head, and I finally thought of something to say.
