She sobered right away and got out of bed with her phone in hand. She stepped over to the window and opened it.

The day was bright and breezy but slightly dry.

Once Joe explained the reason for calling, he said, "Are you at home right now? I can send someone to drive the cars over to you now, or should I arrange for it later?"

Slightly confused, Avery responded regardless, "I'm home right now, so please send them over now."

"Of course."

After the phone call, Avery set her phone down and went into the bathroom to wash up.

Joe had informed her that she had two cars waiting for custom's approval before they could send them to her. Since there were two cars and Avery could not drive them home on her own, they intended on sending the cars to her doorsteps.

After washing up, she went back into the bedroom and put on a dress she grabbed out of the closet, before stepping out of the master bedroom.
