Mya poked her head out and was ready to escape without changing her clothes.

Then, someone appeared at the corner of the corridor, "Ms. Harper."

Mya stopped walking. She turned her head to look behind, "Kevin? Didn't you leave?"

Kevin responded, "Ms. Harper, don't worry. You're safe now."

Mya happily walked toward him, "Did Madelyn ask you to come pick me up?"

Kevin did not nod or shake his head. He just said, "If you feel safe with me, you can leave the hospital with me."

Mya vigorously n
