Adrian was surprised that Morok suddenly stopped talking. Morok instantly understood what was happening though.

"Something's wrong," Adrian said as he reached out to touch Morok, but as soon as he made contact, Morok swayed and collapsed.

Morok was dead.

Mihika was shocked. She whipped around, saying, "Someone ambushed him?!"

They spotted a figure running through the surrounding trees and sprinting off into the distance.

"After them!"

Adrian knew it was that person who killed Morok, so he activated all his power to catch up to the person. However, the attacker proved extremely fast, disappearing without a trace in the blink of an eye.

Seeing the disappearing figure, Adrian cursed, "Damn it! He got away!"

Mihika also found no traces of the person and could only sigh and analyze the situation. "Who was that? It seems like they've been lurking around us. When Morok was about to reveal the truth, they attacked and killed Morok to silence him. The attacker was unexpectedly strong. N
