“So, Hennessy’s the real perpetrator behind those deaths!" Adrian gnashed his teeth in anger. "I won’t let him get away with this. Anyone who dares to plot against me will pay the price!"

"Save me!" Igor pleaded feebly.

Adrian picked Igor up and rushed to the Thousand Herbs Study. Lionel would be able to save Igor. However, the study was empty with not a soul in sight. Even after calling out several times, there was no response.

‘Now what?’ Adrian put Igor down and pulled the silver needle out from Igor’s chest.

The tip of the needle was black, and though only a few short moments had passed, Igor’s life was already hanging by a thread.

"This is the only method I can think of." After saying this, Adrian dug a hole under the peony bush and placed Igor in it. He then turned to Rozi. "Stay here and watch over him. I’m going to find Mr. Lionel."

"Please be careful." Rozi was worried as their opponent this time around was ruthless. The person would do anything and would not give up so
