Jonathan was behaving shamelessly, thinking he had the upper hand just because he possessed a strong weapon.

"Are we going to do this or not?" he egged.

Bucky was unnerved. Even though Adrian was formidable, he was not strong enough to fight against the Moonlit Blade. That sword was so incredibly sharp it could slit the throat of somebody standing three meters away.

"Like I said, Jonathan, anyone who intends to bring harm to Adrian will have to do it over my dead body,” Bucky repeated.

"Hmph!" The infuriated Jonathan was originally unbothered to pay any attention to Bucky since the latter was no match against him, but then he said, "I'll oblige you then. Prepare to die!”

Jonathan laughed maniacally as he slashed out with his sword, thinking Bucky would realize his power and grovel for mercy. Yet, his smile quickly froze. Not only was Bucky unharmed, but he was also skillfully brandishing a dagger.
