"Why thirty years?" Rozi asked, puzzled by Adrian's statement.

Adrian shrugged and did not answer.

The night got darker. Adrian stood watch as Rozi took a nap in the tent. After a few hours, they traded places, and Rozi stood guard till the next morning. Although the sky was covered in shadow, some sunlight managed to pierce through, providing some light to Mount Shangspar.

After a simple breakfast, Adrian packed up the tent before the pair approached the lake.

Rozi asked, "Where should we go? Where's the water flowing?"

Adrian pointed in a direction and said, “I noticed the water flowing in that direction while I was catching fish yesterday. We should be able to find the entrance if we follow the stream. Let's use the tidal waves while we still have them or we'll never find out where Partingia is buried."

Rozi did not fully understand tides, but she was eager to find Partingia as quickly as possible.

Adrian jumped onto a chunk of floating ice and used it as an improvised raft.
