Rozi called out to Adrian, who walked out of the house and approached the body. The old man was dressed in tattered clothes and looked like a beggar. He lay in a bizarre position, and there was a hole in his chest. His long, dirty hair gave him a mad look.

"Is this him? Rozi asked.

Adrian had never met Crutcher, but the corpse's appearance matched his expectations of the man. Crutcher had a reputation for being eccentric and unkempt, which was exactly what the corpse was like.

"I think so," Adrian said in a defeated tone.

Rozi closed her eyes. She found it hard to accept that they had come all this way only to find a lifeless body. She opened her eyes, ready to examine Crutcher's body.

However, Adrian suddenly said, "Don't touch him!"

Rozi was startled as she looked at Adrian in confusion.

"Something's wrong,” he said.

"What is?"

Adrian crouched by the body and carefully examined the corpse. "The way he died doesn't feel right."

This statement made Rozi and Marissa realiz
