Mya pointed to one of the beds. "Gloria and I will share a bed. You sleep over there."

The rest of the night passed without incident. The next morning, Enzo arrived at the hotel shortly after Adrian’s group finished breakfast.

He greeted, "How was your night, sir? Did you sleep well?"

Mya stepped forward and replied, "We were ambushed by Rondoniers last night. Why didn't you notice them?"

Enzo frowned. "How dare they… Those Rondoniers don’t know when to back down until they're killed. Are you guys okay? Was anyone injured?"

"We wouldn't be standing here if we weren't okay." Mya rolled her eyes.

"Enough chatter. We should hurry along." Adrian interrupted.

Enzo led Adrian’s group to the car before speeding off to the airport. Adrian’s group would fly to Sormbay, then return to Novemton from there. The journey would take them more than a day.
