"My cousin came. She has a good temperament. My mother has never seen her family since she married my father. It's time for her to return to her roots," Millie said immediately as if reading Cynthia's mind.

Cynthia was adopted by the Winters family as a child and was two years older than Millie. She had vague memories of how kind Millie's mother was to her. Hearing that someone was going to take Millie's mother's ashes, Cynthia naturally thought something bad was happening. However, she was relieved to hear Millie's words.
