Larissa and Aster took turns comforting Wendy until she stopped crying.

Aster even suggested sleeping with Wendy that night to show that he still liked her. This nearly set Wendy off for the second time.

After finally dealing with both Wendy and Aster, Larissa returned to her room.

Kevan rubbed her shoulders and asked, "They're both asleep?"

"Yeah. I'll send Aster to school tomorrow. You take Wendy to the hospital," Larissa said.

"What's wrong?" Kevan frowned. "Is there something wrong with Wendy's health?"

"No—" Larissa's voice was filled with helplessness and exhaustion. "To the hospital that Edmund's in. Wendy wants to meet him one more time and finish things with him."

"You should stop her." Kevan disagreed with Wendy's actions. To continue tangling oneself with someone like Edmund was just a waste of one's time.

"I did. It was useless." Larissa was very tired too. "She felt that she had been lied to by Edmund too badly. If she doesn't go meet him, she won't get over this.
