The first call was from an employee of a real estate agency. He knew that she had listed her previous house with the agency for rent, and also about how those shameless people from the Hardy family had rented her house to someone else. He claimed to be her boyfriend and expressed his concern because she had yet to return home late at night.

The agency immediately informed him to look for her at the house, if she wasn’t there, the people who rented out her house must be involved.

The people from the Hardy family had all returned to their hometown, which was only a little over three hours away by car, but she wouldn't travel there for such a trivial matter. He immediately drove to her former residence but unexpectedly found a police car downstairs.

His heart tightened, and he quickly rushed into the elevators as fast as he could. As soon as the elevator doors opened on her floor, someone pushed him back inside.

A man in a police uniform shouted sharply, "Go to a different floor!"
