Maria and Jacob left soon as they were worried about disturbing Larissa’s rest. Kevan accompanied them all the way to the elevator before returning.

As soon as he entered the door, he noticed Larissa looking at him with an inquisitive gaze, as if observing a rare jewel. Kevan touched his face embarrassedly and turned to avoid her gaze. "What's wrong?"

"Hmm? Nothing." Larissa realized that she had been staring at him and quickly averted her gaze. She was just slightly surprised. Others might not care as much about seeing off a guest, but she felt it was impolite not to do so. However, when Kevan did it, it made her feel he was humbling himself down. In fact, everything Kevan did after Maria and Jacob arrived went against his usual behavior.

Larissa even suspected that Kevan had a twin brother that she was unaware of. Otherwise, none of his actions seemed logical. Kevan glanced at her a few more times, understanding what was going on in her mind, but he didn’t say anything about it.
