When Rebecca came to pick him up in the evening, Benjamin scuttled over to the car and stood by the front door to talk to her instead of entering through the back door.

Rebecca lowered the window and stared at him. “What?”

“Let’s go to a restaurant. I’ll pay,” Benjamin said excitedly. He clearly remembered her telling him that she wouldn’t let others pay for her, but he still asked her anyway.

Rebecca paused for a moment and said, “Fine. Get in.”

“Great,” Benjamin came to the other side of the car, but she told him to go to the back, so he had to sit in the back. “When are you going to let me sit in the front? I’m just asking.”

Rebecca stopped the car.

Benjamin looked to his left and realized that the car stopped in front of a five-star hotel named ‘Frills.’ “D-Don’t tell me, we’re eating at this hotel?”
