“Why can’t I meet him once?” Lisa yelled at her mom. “If you’re not going to let him see me, then I’ll leave this house!”

“You think I’ll come running after you?” Elizabeth yelled back. “Leave the house if you want! No one is stopping you!”

Lisa then angrily left the house and walked away on her bare feet, crying and shedding tears.

It had been weeks since she had seen her dad, and she just wanted to talk to him once more and know how he was doing, but her mother was not even letting her contact her dad.

Lisa didn’t know for how long she walked, but her stomach started growling.
