In a cold, dark stone castle, in one of the rooms, Rebecca was sitting on the bed, her wrists and ankles bound with chains.

Two maids were standing on either side of the bed; they were looking straight at her with enlarged eyes. Both of them had large fangs protruding out of their mouths. Their eyes glowed brown, giving off an earthly glow. They were intimidating to look at, so Rebecca kept her head lowered, her forehead touching her knees.

The door opened, and a young man wearing a royal mantle entered the room. It was Damian. A glance from him, and the maids walked out of the room and shut the door.

“Rebecca Sterling…” Damian politely spoke. “I know Brother Benjamin worked in your villa, and that he isn’t your husband. I know that Jane is his wife, even though Sasha claims that you’re Benjamin’s wife so I’ll send you home. I’m not going to fall for such lies.”
