Alex's expression became increasingly bitter at the sight of Jane crying her heart out in her sleep. It had been so many years and he had never bothered to consider what she truly felt, simply because she had been far too understanding, to the point that he didn't have to worry about her at all. Alex was never good at fawning over someone, especially when he was dealing with women. He wasn't sure whether he was supposed to comfort her, or wake her up.
