Lisa... She hadn't experienced too much of the darker side of the world, unlike Serenity. Serenity had seen too much of the mentioned darkness in prison. Sometimes, she didn't even have the strength to cry.

"Pfft!"

The pudding in Lisa's mouth sprayed out before she could swallow it. She quickly grabbed a tissue to wipe it off, then said to Serenity, "Seriously, if you want to joke, at least do it when I don’t have anything in my mouth. That was too much."

"I was serious," Serenity said.

They stared at each other for a while, then Lisa chuckled and said, "If he really had feelings for me, it wouldn't work out. Think about how the White family is! If we got together, our life would be a constant battle within his family. With how I am, I'd probably be crushed in minutes."
