Chapter One

Ruby

Life is made of choices whether they are good or bad there is always a reason to do this or that life is not perfect and not always follow labels we live in a constant ferris wheel of things and decisions to be made where and or what should we follow even if the world is not perfect at times.

— Here we go again – Celina screams rolling her eyes.

Iggy adjusted the bag on his shoulder as we moved around following Celina who fixed her hair looking at her cell phone but in front of where we were and started to mumble things that that no one understood would be funny if it wasn't worrying we walked another 10 meters talking excitedly about plans for after college each had an achievement traveling and getting to know other countries and so on. Three dresses had been ordered from the same store that socialite Kim Kardashian and her sisters shop in California for graduation.

One of them was a model that looked like it was made especially for a Greek princess, olive green it looked perfect on my body, while on my side Celina looked at herself in the mirror from the big boutique in a crimson red dress with a slit that showed her thigh shapely and but the front was Iggy in a baby pink dress with a generous neckline in the back.

— Come on girls, we've already chosen our dresses – she comments not very excited – then I can't wait to leave – Iggy says throwing his arms up.

— relax soon, you're going to Paris — he sighs — and I have to go to Mexico and you Ruby, where are you going? – Celina asks staring at me.

— I'm going to Moscow – I say looking around just remembering makes me want to run away.

— A and the groom – she says 'holding my hands.

— We're always with you for whatever you need – Iggy says and the two hug me and I cry.

When I get home I say goodbye to the girls I go inside the house hearing the car pull its way to the living room but there's no one then I go to the kitchen and I go in and see my parents waiting for me because of their faces something had happened and it wasn't a good thing.

— Did something happen? – I ask already waiting for the worst.

— Yes – my mother answers me with a sad and distant look.

— For God's sake tell me what's going on – I beg already worried about the look on their faces.

— Darling, you have to go to Moscow – my father speaks without looking at me.

I looked at the two of them without understanding how I already have to go to Moscow?

— What do you mean dad I have a diploma to get – I whisper already feeling the tears in my eyes.

— He advanced the wedding, princess - speaks taking a deep breath, looking away.

How did the wedding advance just by remembering that I'm already afraid of what might come next I've never seen this Sebastian guy I just know that I've been betrothed to marriage since I was 15 I don't know who it is or what makes life whether it's good or bad I get devastated and run away and I go up the stairs I enter the corridor that goes to my room and I close the door I throw myself on the bed already feeling the tears I hear my bedroom door open and close right away i don't look i feel the bed sink i look at my mother with sad and downcast look - I always wondered why that's just me I didn't understand the reasons - I hug my safe haven as she strokes my hair.

— Because mom, this has to happen just with me, Celina and Iggy going on a trip and I'm going to get married, I just wanted to have a normal life like any girl my age i want i wanted to be free - i say sniffling looking at her.

— Honey, I don't know the reasons but let's pray that everything works out in the end – speak fondly – tomorrow your brothers are arriving we will go with you to Moscow So rest assured – responds stroking my hair.

— Celina and Iggy can go too – I look at you through the tears.

— Yes, my love they can go – he says stroking my hair until sleep comes.

Amidst the tears with my mother patting my head, I quickly fall asleep.
