As she spoke, Shanice’s words were filled with contempt. She continued to say, “Three times! Is that fine now? Let me tell you, I’ve seen many poor people like you. You pretended to be Darryl during the day to get money, right? You refused to shift to another room because you wanted more money. So I am giving you three times the room price; take it and get lost!”

Earlier in the evening, Darryl had an argument with Jonas on the street. That incident spread all over Mid Sky City, and Shanice witnessed it when she was passing the street. As such, she could recognize Darryl at that moment.

Darryl could not help but laugh, “Ha-ha! You’re right, I don’t just want money. I just don’t want to shift to another room. Don’t mention three times the price; even if you give me ten times or a hundred times the room price, I still won’t shift.”

When he said that, Darryl’s eyes were filled with ridicule.
