“Sorry, I misheard you!” said Gerald as he smiled awkwardly. “Hah! Could it be that he thought that she was calling for Mr. Crawford?” said one of the interviewees as he cackled. “If we were any more gullible, we would’ve thought that he was the actual Mr. Crawford of Mayberry!” Everyone there then burst into laughter.
