As the sky darkened, the grand church hall remained pristine and well-lit. The fire of burning candles inside the hall swayed due to the wind. The gloomy weather outside hinted at an impending storm.

Zach was sitting on the pew with his body straight, head bowed, and eyes closed in prayer.

After Kevin finished his last phone call, he walked into the hall, "Mr. Jardin, the hospital just called. Ms. Jent's surgery will be completed soon. We should go back now."

Zach opened his eyes. His strong gaze was less fierce than before, with an addition of calmness, "What time is it now?"

Kevin responded, "It's already eight in the evening. Once we arrive at the hospital, her surgery should be close to completion."

Zach and Kevin then walked out of the hall.
