Adrian left in the company of Marie. He planned on taking a stroll around the farmstead.

Benson’s heart was racing ever so slightly after hearing Adrian’s remark earlier. He quietly looked at the woman standing before him and felt all the memories of their time from their university days fill his mind.

Benson was at a loss for words under the circumstances. After all, it was he who had broken up with Riley in the past. He was rather reserved upon meeting the love of his life once again.

Riley looked at Benson quietly as well. They looked at each other in this manner for a while. The people in the surroundings began to discuss softly.

“I recall you being a good talker. Why aren’t you saying upon meeting me? I remember you being very talkative when you were pursuing me,” Riley said as she looked at Benson.

Benson chuckled awkwardly and hastily said, “Please come in, Riley.”
