Marie spoke out against the injustice on Benson’s behalf. There was a rumor that had spread across Sol County about how Benson went to meet his girlfriend’s parents in Swallowston in the past when he was a nobody. He was then kicked out and forced to break up with her.

Benson still could not move on from that woman. Many people berated the woman without her knowledge, saying she was no longer a worthy match for him.
