Gloria and Samantha got up and headed toward the kitchen to help Rue set up the table. After that, the entire family sat down for dinner.

Late that night, Gloria and Samantha headed back to their room to take care of Nova. Adrian went up to the rooftop garden alone. There, he made a phone call to Novemton's headquarters to request for Leonard, Wilfred, Jacob, Cedric, and all of his other imprisoned relatives to be released.

Ever since both families were thrown into prison, Harold retreated back to his hometown, and his health was deteriorating by the day. Although Adrian had an entire series of grudges against them, they were not enough for him to kill them. After all, they were all a part of the Xander family.

Initially, he thought about releasing Clara, Samantha's cousin, too. However, she was the one who murdered Simon, and Danton would surely object to her release. Thus, he did not even consider releasing the murderer.

The phone call soon reached Novemton's headquarters, w
