Brandishing his sword, Rean leaped to Adrian's side. By now, more corpses had sprung to life and were relentlessly lunging toward them.

Adrian slashed down another corpse with his sword before turning to Rean and ask, "How's Aubrey holding up?"

However, Rean silently glared at him, and Adrian understood that he probably blamed him for Aubrey's condition. Adrian shrugged off the hostility and continued fighting. After all, there were more pressing matters at hand—they had to dispose of the relentless onslaught of undead.

That being said, the more they fought, the more Adrian realized that these corpses seemed endless. "Ash!" he called out.

In a flash, Ash appeared and worked with Adrian to dispose of the corpses. But despite their efforts, the tide of corpses seemed endless. Adrian was not nervous though. After bringing down a few corpses, he figured out what kind of opponent they were dealing with.
