Although he couldn't change Sherri, he thought of another approach. That was to change Adrian!

Adrian was either an ordinary person or a noble from out of town. The latter possibility was very small, and if Adrian was just an ordinary person, then things would be much simpler.

This person seemed to be quite well-mannered. After walking up to Adrian, he smiled and asked, "Can I sit next to you?"

Adrian was about to shake his head, but the man said, "I believe you won't mind."

He then sat down on his own.

Adrian felt a little helpless as he looked around, wondering if he should find another place to sit. But the other person had already spoken. "I heard you are Sherri's friend?"

Adrian squinted and turned to face this seemingly strange fellow. Could it be that this person came for Sherri?

Adrian smirked and thought it was a bit boring to just sit and wait for the banquet to end. Perhaps playing along with someone wouldn't hurt.
