The group of people smiled wickedly as they surrounded Adrian.

"Adrian, oh, Adrian. We never thought we’d encounter you here," one of them said.

Adrian's face sank as he watched Thalia and her group warily. But no matter how hard he tried, he could not tell how powerful they were. If they insisted on attacking him, he might not be able to escape unscathed, let alone protect Lyra.

Meanwhile, Lyra clutched Adrian’s hand tightly and hid behind his back. Her face was pale with fear as she could tell that these individuals were not from the three villages. They gave off a different vibe, especially the girl leading them. Even though she was about the same age as Lyra, she emanated a presence that seemed almost monstrous.

"Can we talk this out? You can have Thalia's body, so let’s just go our separate ways," Adrian reluctantly proposed.

"Hahaha! How the tables have turned. I didn't expect someone as arrogant as you to beg for mercy." Thalia, possessed by the dark dragon, laughed.
