The guard was stunned. Matteo was someone Leeroy trusted. If Leeroy saw Matteo in his state, he might get into trouble.

"What has he done?" the guard asked.

"Take a look." Adrian pointed at Matteo's chest. "He's the leader of the Wolf Fangs, and he wants to replace Mr. Leeroy. I believe Mr. Leeroy won't let him off easily."

The guard was filled with excitement. What Adrian said must be true. Regardless of its authenticity, he needed to bring Matteo before Leeroy. Even if it cost him his job, it was a small price to pay.
