Claude emerged from the study and said, "Don't thank her just yet. That grass can remain dormant for more than a hundred years. It’ll be extremely difficult to get it to sprout again."

Rozi was stunned, torn between believing Claude or Juleen.

Juleen chuckled. "I certainly am no expert. The Green Plum Grass was thriving when it came to us, but it withered after a week."

Claude explained, "It can only germinate in extreme cold, so it's nearly impossible for it to sprout in our warm climate."

Adrian, however, was not convinced. He believed since they had the grass seeds in their possession, there was no reason for it to fail to grow unless Claude was not confident enough.
