Adrian and the others had a pleasant dinner. Everyone was in good spirits, especially Lionel, who was particularly interested in Axel's medicinal herbs. Despite the darkness, he went out to the field to inspect the plants.

"The former butler heard about Hendrick taking over his position and is on his way to teach Hendrick a lesson right now!" he reported.

‘Damn it!’ Adrian recognized the gravity of the situation and knew he had underestimated Lucien.

Sebastian was the kind of man who would fool around from dusk till dawn without any care for the manor. Instead, it was Lucien who was in control of everything.
