No one was willing to give up on the citizens in Geras. Everyone wanted to do something for them, however little it may be.

Strider raised his hand, silencing all the cheers and shouts. He calmly said, "A million tons will be enough for them to get through their current disaster, but it won’t be easy to transport all of that food there. Some of you may die. With that, are you all still willing to do it?"

"The b*stard took away my family, so I'll never resign my fate to him, even if I have to die in the process. I'll do it, sir!" a young man shouted.

"Me too."

"Give us your orders, Sir Strider. We'll do whatever it takes to get that food to Geras, even if it means we have to lay down our lives."

"We'll never retreat, we'll never surrender, and we'll never betray!" the soldiers chanted.

Their hearts pumped rapidly, each and every one of them filled with extreme hatred for the shadow in the sky. Their hatred ran so deep that they would do anything it took to take it down.
