Barry lowered his head and stared at his hands. "A little over a week ago, I was on vacation in my hometown when it happened. Monsters started appearing everywhere. I was at the supermarket with my parents that day for groceries when the monsters stormed in. I couldn't save them, and that's also when I lost my arm."
