Katherine’s lineage was also announced, and she took the opportunity to say she had changed her name—because eccentric millionaires and their whims.

Noblewomen did far worse things, so a sudden name change didn’t seem all that crazy.

Things started to stabilize.

A section of the barrier was lifted, now called The Border.
