Sigrid lowered her hand in utter disgust, grabbing Lucrecia’s withered, lifeless hair with monstrous strength, forcing her to kneel.

“Look at me!” she commanded, facing her.

Lucrecia didn’t even have the strength to scream, tears of blood streaming down what had once been one of the most beautiful faces of this era.

Sigrid’s magic poured out of her body in a furious blaze, burning Lucrecia’s scalp as she lay dying.
