Elvin didn't say anything. All of a sudden, Caleb felt his head throb. He crouched down to Elvin's eye level. "Did you tell Britney to cause a scene at Stephen's engagement party yesterday?"

The little boy continued to remain silent. Caleb was trying hard to digest this piece of information. He calmed himself down for a moment before continuing to ask, "Do you know who she is?"

"Yes," Elvin replied in a cool manner.

"You ..." Trying to suppress his shock, Caleb enunciated his words clearly. "What exactly do you know?"

Elvin stared into his eyes and uttered calmly, "Take a guess."

Caleb was rendered speechless. For a moment, he somehow had the feeling that the kid in front of him was nowhere near a five-year-old, but an extremely sly fox! Were children so mature these days?

"Let's not talk about that first." Caleb held Elvin by the shoulders. "Does your mom know you're in the same kindergarten as Britney?"
