Yvonne nodded. "We went to City Hall yesterday."

"No…" Edith was completely astonished. She looked at Yvonne for a long time before recollecting her thoughts.

"W-Why did you marry him again so suddenly? I've never heard you mention it before."

Edith held Yvonne's hands and asked concernedly, "Did Stephen bully you? Did he force you to get married? You should tell me. I will go to the ends of the earth to help you."

Yvonne smiled gently. "I wanted to get remarried to him. I've got my own ideas."

"Alright then." Edith dejectedly lowered her head. She sighed heavily in resignation. "Perhaps you and Otto are just not meant to be. You two had spent so much time together, yet nothing happened."
