Yvonne was a little stunned. Then, she shook her head.

"I don't know. But I won't be able to accept it if it turns out to be any of you." She didn't dare to even imagine that.

She looked into Stephen's eyes. Her gaze was serious like never before. "Stephen, you have to trust that I can protect you and Elvin. I won't let Mark hurt either of you."

At that moment, a knock sounded at the door, interrupting their moment.

Yvonne looked at the door. "Come in."

Otto entered and immediately caught Stephen's eye. He stopped in his tracks. "It looks like I came at a bad time."

"How can I help you, Mr. Carrington?" Yvonne asked.

"Calbert asked me to tell you that he has left to deal with Sloan. He said not to worry about him or that Sloan will show up again when you go up against Mark."

Otto walked in closer and saw the map on her desk. "You still haven't found Mark yet?"

Yvonne hummed in response before asking curiously, "How is Calbert planning to deal with Cory? Is he that confident t
