Over at Hope Health Services, Yvonne had just received Stephen's call.

Stephen had filled her in on what had happened at the bar.

"Should I have dealt with Cory on the spot?" Stephen asked pensively.

Yvonne smiled. "You were in his territory. If you had gone up against him on the spot, that would have been asking for death. But Cory is an honorable man. He even told you about his plan to help Mark."

Just from that alone, Yvonne felt that if Cory wasn't her enemy, he would be a great friend.

After all, not many people in his line would dare to be so open.

If it had been her in Stephen's shoes that night, she would have done the same thing as him too.

Yvonne sighed. "It's too bad that we can only be enemies with him. If Mark gets his help, he would be much harder to deal with."

Stephen hummed and fell into thought for a while. "Cory and Kendrick are mortal enemies. And now Cory is on Mark's side. Kendrick is fully on our side too. Let him deal with Cory."

"Yes." Yvonne smiled.
