One short sentence. There was no explanation. Yvonne immediately dialed the number, but all she heard was the automated reply—one she had heard countless times.

She looked disappointed. She had thought that she would have been able to get in touch with Gwen.

On second thought, why would Gwen suddenly send her this message? Did Gwen know what Howard was going to do? Or maybe … Gwen was nearby?

At that thought, Yvonne's disappointment immediately turned to hope once more. Not only was Gwen doing alright, but she was keeping watch nearby! There was still a chance for her to see Gwen!

After washing up, Yvonne enthusiastically shared the news with Stephen. She couldn't hide her joy. "Gwen must be nearby! If I pay more attention, I might be able to find out where she is!"
