Jim took Yvonne to a pavilion by the lake. He pointed at a man below a huge tree in the distance. "That's Kendrick Beck over there."

Yvonne looked over to see a man lying under the tree with a book over his head.

"I don't think that he likes to read," Jim said.

"I've always seen him with that book. Sometimes, he has it upside down too. I'm guessing he's only using it to block the sun."

Yvonne chuckled. "That's interesting. Don't you think so?"

"Once you see him, you won't find him interesting anymore. He has a strange character. His looks are quite scary too …"
