Yvonne was at the border for a week before heading back. Before she left, she instructed Howard to contact her immediately if something happened to Jade.

She also instructed him not to do anything reckless alone. Furthermore, he wasn't to tell anyone about this before Jade was rescued, in case it caused more trouble.

After this round, Howard had learned his lesson. Other than sending himself to death, he couldn't do anything that would help Yvonne. Hence, he sincerely promised her that he would listen to her.

Seeing how serious Howard was, Yvonne left in relief.

Her plane landed in Northerna City that evening. Yvonne had just come out of the airport when she saw Stephen standing not far away.

His frostiness was a huge juxtaposition to the lively atmosphere around him. It was hard not to notice him.

Yvonne secretly sighed. Was he that eager for an answer?

Seeing that Yvonne wasn't moving, Stephen walked over to her instead.

Yvonne braced herself and asked, "Why are you here?"
