Clayton’s smile faintly stiffened. His eyes darkened for a brief moment, but it was only for a short second before he returned to his usual self.

“Did Mr. Ferguson ask you to come and persuade me?”

Keith was stunned and immediately denied it. “Of course not, we’re just reminding you that there are women everywhere, so you don’t need to look for a divorced woman with a domineering and strong personality, right?”
