When Chatty woke up, the assistant brought in some dessert and coffee.

Clayton finished some of the more urgent matters and pushed the rest to the afternoon.

“Baby, you heard it just now. Tyler’s someone who would do anything for money. You can’t go out in public during this time unless you bring enough bodyguards.”

Nicole nodded. She did not like to risk her life.

“I know. I won’t go anywhere in the near future except for the office and Ian’s wedding.”

Ian’s wedding was a must.

Clayton nodded.

He hesitated for a moment before he said, “Did Eric approach you recently?”

Nicole shook her head calmly.

“No, but I don’t know if he approached my brother. What’s wrong?”

Clayton paused, and he looked serious.

“It’s nothing. Mr. Ferguson’s family is in Tyler’s hands. I’m just afraid that he’ll do something in a moment of impulse.”

Nicole frowned slightly.

“Aren’t Ingrid and Quinn with Falcon?”

Clayton was silent for a few seconds.
