Clayton let out a low laugh. “It’s morning in Liberty, so I’m up.”

Nicole slapped her head. She was so sleepy that she had forgotten about the time difference.

“After sleeping for so long, you should be hungry, right? Go eat something.”

Clayton patiently coaxed her. Nicole pursed her lips and felt a sense of dependence in her heart.

“When will you be done with things over there?”
